You have put together your wedding budget but might have failed to include one expense – vendor tips! While vendor tipping is not required, it is most definitely appreciated. It’s a thoughtful gesture that goes a long way with your vendor, trust me. Tip your vendors for meeting or exceeding your expectations. Gratuities can be considered on a case-by-case basis, but whatever you do, please do not forget about your small business owners!
To help ease this process for you, we have broken it down to a T. We have categorized each vendor to the standard protocol of what is expected and when. Reference back to this list when setting up your wedding budget or talking to your planner.
Give your sealed cash envelope tips to your wedding planner at the ceremony rehearsal. She or he will take care of giving them to all of your vendors at the perfect time! The bride and groom usually don’t get the chance to see a lot of the vendors at their wedding, for example, the florist, the cake baker, delivery & staff, etc. This will make things easier for you and give you one less thing to stress about on your wedding day!
